Early Intervention Services

A goal of Behavioral Community Connections is to open at least two ABA centers in norther Colorado, to provide early-intervention ABA services for children ages 18 months to 6 years. ​ABA has been recognized as the standard of care for treating autism in young children by several authorities, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CASP, 2024).

​​Donations will be used for the following: 

  • Least center for early intervention services in northern Colorado. 

  • Center supplies and furniture

  • Training of employees

  • Continuing education

  • Meals for children

Licensed Day Treatment Center

A goal of Behavioral Community Connections is to open a licensed day treatment center in Northern Colorado, to serve children with intellectual and developmental differences ages 5-18 years who engage in severe challenging behaviors, such as physical aggression, property destruction, elopement, self-injurious behaviors, and other dangerous behaviors. The licensed day treatment center will be accredited with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE).​

Donations will be used for the following: 

  • Purchasing a building that meets child care facility licensing standards in Colorado

  • Classroom supplies, furniture, and facility maintenance

  • Company vehicles to assist with transporting children who engage in severe challenging behaviors

  • ​Training classes for employees and caregivers

Caregiver Resources & Training

Behavioral Community Connections currently provides in-home caregiver training by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), assists families with accessing waivers, and provides cleaning services. 

Donations will be used for the following: 

  • Consultation and advocacy services

  • Training staff & caregivers 

  • Commuting expense

  • Cleaning services
