Caregiver Resources & Training
Behavioral Community Connections currently provides in-home caregiver training by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and assists with connecting families to resources, such as waivers.
Donations will be used for the following:

Providing families with resources not covered by waivers

Provide therapists with continuing education and certifications to better assist children and families (e.g., QBS Safety Care training, trauma-informed care training)
Licensed Day Treatment Center
A goal of Behavioral Community Connections is to open a licensed day treatment center in Northern Colorado, to serve children with intellectual and developmental differences ages 5-18 years who engage in severe challenging behaviors, such as physical aggression, property destruction, elopement, self-injurious behaviors, and other dangerous behaviors. The licensed day treatment center will be accredited with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE).
Donations will be used for the following:

Classroom supplies and furniture

Company vehicles to assist with transporting children who engage in severe challenging behaviors, which put peers at risk on the bus

Training classes for employees and caregivers
Early Intervention Services
A goal of Behavioral Community Connections is to open at least two ABA centers in norther Colorado, to provide early-intervention ABA services for children ages 18 months to 6 years.
ABA has been recognized as the standard of care for treating autism in young children by several authorities, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CASP, 2024).
